How to Amend a Will
If you have small changes to make you can amend you original will with a codicil and attach this document to the original will. If you have extensive changes to make you might want to consider creating a new will with the help of an attorney. To make the changes official you will need to have two witnesses, outside of your family, sign the will and be present at the signing; however, in Illinois a notary does not need to be in attendance.
